Our work has always focused on ‘forgotten’ regions'; communities where there is little or no support from local government or other charities and where a little help goes a long way.
We always work with local people who have an understanding of the real needs of the communities and who have respect and favour in these areas, which helps our work to be effective, personal and responsive. For many of the children we support, Patchwork Kids is not only an education programme, but a chance to feel a part of an extended family.
Because we are a small charity, run by volunteers and simply focused on supporting these small communities, we are able to make sure that over 90% of donations are given straight to the intended child or community.
